TWO FACED

December 2021

I created "Two Faced" during my sophomore year of college and it has two meanings for me. After going through a year of traumatic events, I wanted to create an outlet to express how I was feeling; the outward side which was pretending that everything was fine, and the inward side, that was struggling immensely to keep everything together. The secondary meaning of this project relates to having a relationship or friendship with someone who is metaphorically "two faced". It is not often talked about how draining it can be to have someone in your life act one way in front of you, and another in front of everyone else. This project brings light to this and all of the emotions that go along with dealing with a person like that.
