Kolob Canyon Review (KCR) is a collaborative publication created by Southern Utah University's Graphic Design department and English department. Students are invited to write stories, poems, and create art for the publication. As part of the design team, we worked together to create volume 32, aka HAWT Salmon. The design team also created merchandise, such as notebooks, posters, stickers, pins, mugs, and bookmarks to be sold at the KCR launch party for the community to attend.
This was such a great project to be a part of. Not only was I able to help design this edition of KCR but I was also able to take the studio photos of our publication. As of August 2024, volume 32 of KCR has won an Applied Arts Design Award and has been waitlisted for another.
